Kelly Ripa Says Clay Aiken Will 'Be a Great Father'

"It's great," Ripa told PEOPLE exclusively when asked about Aiken's impending fatherhood at a party Wednesday in New York City to celebrate her appearance on the July cover of Hamptons magazine. "I think he'll be a great father." These days, Ripa is staying busy with her own three kids: Michael, 11, Lola, 7, and Joaquin, 5. "They just started day camp and they love it," says Ripa, who attended the party with husband, Mark Consuelos. "Now little Joaquin goes with them. I was very concerned about him going, but he's having the time of his life. When I grew up we didn't have summer camp – only the bad kids got sent away. I didn't know that good kids could go to camp."
