Molly Sims and Hamptons Magazine celebrated the launch of the T-Studio at Tommy Hilfiger's new East Hampton store this Saturday. Molly was rocking summer chic, in her Hilfiger jeans and sheer blouse, and had a blast creating her own "LOCAL" t-shirt at the store's hot new T-Studio. "It's my ten year anniversary of my house," Molly told us with her signature smile stretched from ear to ear. "I know, it makes me sounds old, but I figured it out and I couldn't believe it’s been 10 years. It seems like yesterday. So, yeah, I made a 'local' t-shirt. I'm so happy to be part of this community."Molly made her coral 'local' t-shirt at Hilfiger's new T-Studio, a stylized silk screening studio, that sits on the second floor of his East Hampton store, where hand printed and numbered limited-edition t-shirts are created. But the T-Studio is more than just a custom, hipster t-shirt shop - it’s yet another example of Tommy Hilfiger's never-ending philanthropic endeavors. As Molly explained to us, "it's really cool and we're all going to have a lot of fun designing our custom tees here this summer, but we're donating the machine to the Amagansett Applied Arts School. For the next 8 Saturdays, people can come in, get their t-shirts made, unique new designs every week, and then Tommy's donating the whole machine." Tommy Hilfiger’s giving doesn't end there. He's giving back to you too! Every Saturday between July 4th and Labor Day Weekend, from 3-7pm, the first fifty customers will receive that week’s unique t-shirt for free. Yes, free. Molly said of Hilfiger's charitable ways, "That's Tommy. He's so supportive...always giving. He's a good friend, a great designer and, as we all know, he keeps reinventing the classics."The t-shirts come in a variety of colors, and will retail exclusively at Tommy Hilfiger East Hampton for $28. The helpful printing staff at T-Studio, who just happen to be students from the Applied Arts School, will be on hand each Saturday to help you create the perfect tee.Molly, who splits her year between her Southampton home, her SoHo apartment and her Los Angeles digs, couldn't get enough of the whole process so she also created a 'visitor' t-shirt, “just to be fair.” Other guests that enjoyed the T-Studio and the Hamptons Magazine Cocktail Party included Mr. Hamptons Magazine himself, Jason Binn, Beth Ostrosky Stern, Andrew Saffir, John Oates (yes, as in ‘Hall and Oates’), Jill Martin, Kristian Laliberte, Olivia Palermo, Johannes Huebl, Erin Lucas, Matt Levine, Devorah Rose, Gina Glickman, Giuseppe Tuosto, Barry Mullineaux and DJ Sam Siegler, who provided the afternoon beats.Be sure to visit our Photo Gallery for more photos from the T-Studio at Tommy Hilfiger party!
